I’m a Joyful Winner!

Last Wednesday I made a comment on the Joyful Soaps blog that made me a winner of two of their fabulous Easter soaps! Today, I received my prize in the mail:

Aren’t they adorable? They smell great too, with the perfect amount of fragrance so that you don’t have to wonder if they are scented or not. According to their website, the Bunny Soap is scented with a grapefruit fragrance, but it’s much more complex than that. I’m not the best at picking out notes in fragrance, but there’s definitely a very nice musky background. The Lilac Soap is also quite nice! It’s a very true, powdery lilac fragrance – very similar to the one I make.

And because I couldn’t resist trying it, I soaped up my hands with the Lilac and got a nice, big fluffy lather. Leslie really packs in the good stuff: olive, coconut, safflower, almond, and castor for oils, and shea, cocoa and mango for butters. Wow! My hands feel really soft now!

Thanks, Leslie and Michael, for letting me try your fantastic soaps!
