I sent out a survey on Sunday to my Preferred Customers only, asking them to choose their top 3 choices from a list of potential soap scents for the fall. I also gave a little incentive for participating. Everyone who voted was included in a drawing for this enormous Cinnamon Bun Parfait soap:

I thought I was going to leave the survey open until Thursday, but my Survey Monkey account only lets me collect 100 responses, and I had those by the middle of Wednesday! So I did the random.org thing and came up with a winner for the soap:

As you can see, Vicki A was the lucky winner! She’s one of my faithful locals at the farmer’s market, and I will be giving her the prize this Saturday when I see her there!

Now the question is – did she pick any of the most popular scents from the survey?

Why yes, she did! Both Pumpkin Pie and Cedarwood Sage are in the top 3!

Spiced Apple Cider was the number one pick, with Pumpkin Pie in a very close second place, and Cedarwood Sage made the number three spot. I will start by making these three soaps, and then I may add some of the others as well. Thank you to my Preferred Customers for their votes!
