I have three new soaps to show you since the last time I posted…
First up is Cranberry Yuzu – a very tart and tangy scented soap! I used the exact same recipe that I used last year, but created a completely different design. Made with some faux funnel pours and layered colors of light pink, dark pink, red, and orange with hints of white. The tops are swirled as well.
Cranberry Yuzu will be available at Greatcakessoapworks.com on November 9th.
Next is Amber Fig. Very sensual scent of amber, fig, brown sugar and musk. I had requests for this soap by two different customers in one day! Not only is the recipe the same, but the swirl technique is the same as well. (What can I say? It works!) Colors are dark brown, plum, and copper with a creamy background that will discolor to more of a tan.
Amber Fig will also be available on November 9th.
Finally, Snow-Laden Spruce is completely new this year! I had planned it out on paper, but never actually made it last year. It is a dark green spruce-scented soap with flecks of peppermint soap throughout, and peppermint-scented white “snow” on top. There’s a hint of glitter for just a bit of sparkle in the snow.
Snow-Laden Spruce will be available on November 16th.
Now it’s time to see how many other soaps I need to make for Christmas!
