\"Gardener\\'s<\/a>Yesterday I whipped up this awesome soap – I’ve had several customers asking me when I was going to make some more Gardener’s Scrub. I hadn’t made any since the first batch in August of 2004! This time around in addition to the powdered pumice, I added another unique exfoliant: pulverized corn cobs! You can see the multi-colored flecks in the soap. I acquired a quart jar of this stuff from a fellow soapmaker. She said it was used to “sand” blast the outside of their house!<\/p>\n

The scent is very fresh & clean – lavender and lemon. I’ve never been a big fan of lavender, but combined with the lemon, it’s transformed into something really great. Both of these essential oils have anti-bacterial properties, making them perfect for this type of soap. Even if you aren’t a gardener, if you like a good scrubby soap, this one will definitely work! However, it is still on the curing rack for another three weeks, so you won’t see it for sale until at least June 9th. I know, I know. Why do I torment you?<\/p>\n
