I just made a list similar to this for my friends on Facebook, and decided you might like to know a little more about me as well. <\/p>\n
1. I have lived in Olathe, Kansas, for almost 7 years, and yet I still get lost in downtown Kansas City nearly every time I attempt to find a new destination.
\n2. In addition to making soap, I also enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and most anything crafty.
\n3. I went to college at North Park College (now University) in Chicago, majoring in Communications, with minors in Biblical Studies and Youth Ministry.
\n4. I\u2019ve been married for 10 years and 5 months as of tomorrow.
\n5. My first date with my husband was going for a ride on his ski boat.
\n6. My older daughter was born in Tennessee exactly seven and a half years ago today.
\n7. My younger daughter was born in Kansas, exactly one month before her due date (she was perfectly healthy!).
\n8. I have an abnormal fear of throwing up. Probably because I can\u2019t really remember the last time I did. (4-5 years old maybe?)
\n9. I buy most of our groceries from Walmart and Sam\u2019s Club.
\n10. I know how to play the flute, piano and guitar, but rarely do.
\n11. I have 77 different fragrance oils, and 30 different essential oils in my basement.
\n12. I spent one summer cleaning houses with my mom when I was in high school.
\n13. My favorite vacation was going to Cancun with my husband on his business trip (without kids) during the second week of December 2004. That year was the most relaxed Christmas I ever had.
\n14. My favorite ice cream flavor is cookies and cream.
\n15. I have vivid dreams about going to camp (I\u2019ve usually forgotten to pack something important), going to classes at school (I can\u2019t remember where my class or my locker is), and speaking or singing in front of large crowds of people (I don\u2019t have my notes, or don\u2019t know the song). Anyone sense a theme?
\n16. I\u2019ve traveled out of the country thrice by plane, once by van, once by car, and once by bus, and the farthest I\u2019ve been from home was Israel when I went with a class in college.
\n17. I am most anxious for my husband to finish the tile work in our master bathroom \u2013 everything is done except the shower!
\n18. When I was in grade school, I was convinced that there was sugar in toothpaste. My classmates made fun of me for making such a silly statement. So I wrote to Aquafresh and they actually wrote me back! “No, toothpaste is not made with sugar…”
\n19. I have been in youth ministry – either paid or volunteered – since I graduated from college because I LOVE it!
\n20. I love to read, but rarely have the time to do it.
\n21. My best friend lives in Ohio.
\n22. I don\u2019t drink coffee.
\n23. There were four girls named Amy in my 7th grade social studies class. Three of them were spelled differently.
\n24. I have never cleaned behind my refrigerator or stove since moving in to our house almost 7 years ago. Wonder what’s back there?
