I wish I had taken a picture.\u00a0 Right before lunch today, my youngest daughter came out of the bathroom with her gum in her hair.\u00a0 Not exactly sure how it happened, but I remembered hearing that peanut butter could help remove it.\u00a0 So I presented the idea to her.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Daughter\u00a0(age 4, running away from me & the peanut butter jar): “NO!”\u00a0<\/p>\n
Me: “How about you eat a peanut butter spoon while I use the peanut butter to take the gum out of your hair?”<\/p>\n
She was ok with this tactic.\u00a0 It was, after all, lunch time. \u00a0Lo and behold, it worked!\u00a0 I don’t know what I was expecting, but something about the peanut butter just seemed to break down the stickiness of the gum.\u00a0 Of course, we had to wash her hair afterwards, but at least we didn’t have to\u00a0break out\u00a0the scissors!\u00a0\u00a0(I realize this isn’t really a\u00a0“skin” care recipe, but more like a “hair” care trick!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
