Water Lily Soap<\/figcaption><\/figure>Take a look at these ~*PINK*~ soaps! Someone who had bought soap from me three years ago contacted me to see if I had any water lily scented soaps. She wanted them for her granddaughter’s baby shower to give out as favors. The theme for the shower is water lilies since the baby’s name will be Liliana. Isn’t that sweet?<\/p>\n

Well, I didn’t have anything in stock, but when I found out how many she needed, I told her I could make them for her. I used some red 33 dye with a little bit of titanium dioxide to color the soap. As I mixed, I thought – wow, this is really dark! But it looked somewhat mauve before it set up. After I opened the molds the next morning, I realized I had some bright pink soap! I couldn’t resist adding the dragonfly stamp.<\/p>\n
