My new hydrangea for Mother's Day<\/figcaption><\/figure>My husband planned ahead and already bought me a beautiful pink hydrangea bush for Mother’s Day. He wanted me to have something nice before all the flowers were too “picked over”. Isn’t he sweet? Several years ago he bought me one in blue. I planted it on the east side of our house and it still comes back each year – and blooms! I’ve heard that the acidity of the soil determines the color of the blooms, so I’ll be anxious to see if the new plant will stay pink once I plant it in the ground.
