"These soaps are wonderful, not only the scent but the way your skin feels so soft after using them. I keep a bar of the Cinnamon coffee soap in my kitchen. It is great at removing different smells from your hands and the coffee grounds are a great exfoliant.
I am a daycare provider so I get a lot of things on my hands and I am constantly washing them over and over. The soaps that I have used in the past would make my hands crack and sometimes bleed, with Great Cake Soaps I sometimes do not find the need to wear lotion, and if I do I make sure to use Amy's lotions.
I have always had trouble with my skin and the Clarifying Facial Soap works great at leaving your skin clean and fresh. I have also used the Lye soap and it is great at drying up those pesky trouble spots and removing body odors from a long hard day of work.
The most wonderful thing about Great Cakes Soaps, however, is they are a great testimony of the Lord's work. Every soap has the Lord's message on the outer package. "I've got rosacea and skin allergies and many soaps are sensitive to these problems for me. I love the handmade soaps because of the scents and the fact that my hands and skin feel smoother after I've used them! I have many favorite soaps, but I suppose I would choose the cinnamon/coffee soap because I use it the most in my kitchen every day and love the way it removes the kitchen odors from my hands. I also love the lip butter because many commercial lip balms on the market contain additives that I am allergic to and Great Cakes Soapworks makes a great smelling and feeling lip butter! Every type of Great Cakes soap product that I have tried has been fantastic, and I have not had any problems with my skin.
