Thinking About Mother’s Day

My new hydrangea for Mother's Day
My husband planned ahead and already bought me a beautiful pink hydrangea bush for Mother’s Day. He wanted me to have something nice before all the flowers were too “picked over”. Isn’t he sweet? Several years ago he bought me one in blue. I planted it on the east side of our house and it still comes back each year – and blooms! I’ve heard that the acidity of the soil determines the color of the blooms, so I’ll be anxious to see if the new plant will stay pink once I plant it in the ground.

My old hydrangea coming up
So, what about you? What would you like for Mother’s Day? Do you need to make a Great Cakes Soapworks wish list for your hubby? Or get something for your mom? Consumable products are great for the mom who already has everything! And of course, any mom would love to be pampered for Mother’s Day.
