The Salt Bar Comparison

Dripping Wet Salt BarsIt’s official. The wet salt bars went in the trash after I took these last pictures. They were a soggy, dripping mess. My husband, the engineer, thinks I created another form of DampRid. Basically a salt dehumidifier that pulls water out of the air. There’s definitely plenty of moisture here! Maybe I missed my calling.

Lathering Kosher Salt BarThe kosher salt bars are definitely keepers! They are lathering great! I still want to do a little more experimenting before I settle on this recipe. You know, some time after I get all my regular soap making done!

The kosher salt bar looks great. I’m hoping to make it to the Olathe Farmers market one of these days…when I do I’ll look for you!

I’ll make it easy for you to find me. My next post is about the farmer’s market – and there will be pictures of my booth! :)
