Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is known as Summer Break Out (or SBO) at our church. And it’s happening this week! The theme is “Night At the Museum” and all the Bible characters are statues that come to life to act out the stories. Rather cool – I’ve heard, anyway – since I am helping with the volunteer’s kids in the kindergarten room and we don’t get to do all the activities that the other kids are doing. My girls are enjoying themselves, however. We bought the CD with all the songs when we registered several weeks ago, so they already knew the music. The fun part is learning the actions this week! I’m looking forward to seeing their performance on Sunday morning.
Needless to say, I’m not getting much done in the way of soaping this week, and chasing 20 kindergarteners around all morning wears me out! Just so you know, I might be a little quieter than usual. I do have a Ladies Night Out event on Thursday night, and I will update you all on that later in the week!
