When my soapmaking friend Michele of Tierra Verde Soaps announced that her new web store was open for business, her Creamy Coconut with Lime and Clove soap just begged me to buy it. Here’s the official description: “Coconut milk provides a luxurious creamy froth of lather while fresh limes meld with a lashing of exotic dark patchouli and just a hint of clove. This scent is fresh with a hint of sultry.” I was intrigued by the coconut milk as well as the scent. It’s exactly as she described, and my hubby really likes this one also!
I already knew Michele was the generous type, so I shouldn’t have been surprised that she sent me two samples of other soaps I had been drooling over as well! The first one – my absolute favorite – is the Orange Honey Drizzle with Oats. She calls it “breakfast for your skin.” Isn’t that clever? Now, usually when you have an all-natural orange scented soap, the fragrance isn’t all that strong. Not so with this one! I don’t know how she did it, but the orange and the honey scent are both fantastic!
The other soap sample is called Fresh Air. It’s a combination of evergreen and peppermint that I love! The evergreen isn’t sharp like some can be – it’s just reminds me of a walk in the woods with a cool breeze.
Needless to say, I’m a huge fan of Tierra Verde Soaps! Michele has a 10% discount going on right now for her grand opening sale too – what a deal!
