My name is Staci Marquez-Nichols, owner of Sustainable Soaps. I am coordinating handmade soap donations with Paul Till (managing director of Clean the World).

Soap of any kind is acceptable because Clean the World rebatches it before sending it out for distribution. Clean the World also takes shampoo.

Based on the information on the Clean the World website, they are mainly receiving donations from hotels – recycled soap and shampoo, so it does NOT have to be handmade soap. I didn’t see anything about laundry bars, though.

Will they take store bought or is this only handmade? And if they do take store bought, would they like some laundry bars also?
