On the Curing Rack: Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap

Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap

Oatmeal, Milk & Honey Soap

I finally cut the Oatmeal, Milk & Honey soap that I made on Saturday. It turned out great! In fact, the word “wholesome” usually comes to mind when I think of this soap. Can’t get much better than fresh goat’s milk, oatmeal, and local honey. It’s one of the most moisturizing soaps that I make.

If you are interested in my methods for making goat milk soap, the last time I made this soap I created a tutorial. Fortunately, it was about 26 degrees outside on Saturday, so I was able to just set it outside instead of using a fan to keep it cool.

I’m hoping to have this soap available at Greatcakessoapworks.com on March 14.
