There IS a difference between a handmade lotion and the lotions you find at the store. Number one difference is that most lotions you find at the store (even your favorite bath & body store) are made with petrolatum or mineral oil. You won’t find very many with aloe vera juice as the first ingredient. And I would be very surprised if you found one with a natural preservative. (I use citric acid and silver citrate.)
