Kids are Funny
Last night at the dinner table, our family got to talking about the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences this week. My husband said something to the effect of,
Last time we went to visit your teacher, she said stuff like, ‘She always listens and is very polite. I never have to ask her twice to do something.’ And we said, ‘Are we in the right room?’
And my younger daughter (age 6), completely serious said,
“Were you?”
