Isn’t it supposed to be brown?
Hmmm. Did anyone notice that the Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey soap was a light yellow color when I made it yesterday? Here’s an interesting fact: most fragrances containing a vanilla scent will discolor soap to a brown. In some cases a very dark brown like my Vanilla Lily soap.
Here is what the soap log looks like today.
It darkens over time as the soap cures, so when this fresh batch is completely cured in about four weeks, it will look like what you are used to buying from me.
