Gearing Up for Saturday
It’s going to be a busy week! I have several new products in the works as I gear up for the Overland Park Fall Festival this Saturday. I made a new Lip Butter today, and added another Jojoba-Shea Lotion fragrance as well. They don’t have labels yet, so I haven’t taken pictures or put them on the website.
Tomorrow, hubby and I are having a Date Day, so you’ll have to wait until Thursday to find out what the new flavor and fragrance is! My friend Kathy is coming over on Thursday to help me shrink-wrap and label 150 soaps and almost as many soap balls that are cured and ready for Saturday as well. She is AWESOME.
I made sixteen Grapefruit & Peppermint Foot Scrubs today, and I have one other new product that I will be working on as well. Stay tuned! I’ll let you know when I have everything up on the Great Cakes Soapworks website! Meanwhile, the Lava Lip Glosses are still on sale through Friday.

My mom is visiting my sister in KC. I’m hoping they go to the festival and look you up. Mom has horrible psorisis and has found goat milk soaps very soothing. I emailed my sister and told them to find you if they make it to the festival. Watch for the red-heads!
