Custom Baby Shower Soaps
Remember the Water Lily soaps that I made several weeks ago for baby shower favors? I just finished packaging them up yesterday. The customer provided the “Thank You” stickers with a picture of a water lily on them. She ordered 50 Water Lily soaps with a custom label, packaged in these stylin’ vinyl bags with drawstring organza tops:

After the invitations went out, the customer contacted me again saying that there would be some men at the baby shower and she wanted to get something a bit different for them. She chose some Stress Relief soap out of my regular inventory, and I offered to make some custom soap boxes for them in a neutral color. (They work like a matchbox.)
I found this fabulous “black wave” cardstock at Discountcardstock.com. I asked the customer service a few questions before I ordered, and Desiree was very helpful and quick to respond. I was impressed. I was even more impressed with the product once it was in my hands.
During the farmer’s market last Saturday, I was able to get all the boxes cut out and the fold lines scored. I had never made boxes before, so this was a new creative venture for me! They turned out wonderfully, and my customer is very pleased.

Very nice!
I got my soap and used it for the first time. The smell and feel of it in the shower. Will tell you how much I like it after I’ve used it for a bit.
