Travel Size Bug Off Spray - DEET free
1. Does it stink?
2. Does it really work?
Here are my answers:
1. No, it really doesn’t smell bad to humans. There’s a large percentage of sweet orange oil to help balance out the insect repelling oils. Most people are pleasantly surprised at the scent. While it does smell a little bit like citronella (one of the lesser oils in the list of ingredients), it certainly doesn’t stink.
2. YES, Absolutely!! It has been tested in many regions – locally in the Kansas City area, Mississippi, Illinois, and even Belgium with great results.
Read the testers’ testimonials, and decide for yourself!
The Bug Off natural insect repellent sprays are available in a small 1 oz. travel or purse size for $5, or a larger 4 oz. bottle for $10. We also offer the same natural insect repellent in a solid stick, which may work better for younger children, although the Center for Disease Control has stated that the use of lemon eucalyptus, one of the main insect repelling oils should not be used on children under the age of three.
And since we are a soap company, Great Cakes Soapworks also offers a Bug Off natural soap! This works great for a camping soap, or just to use as your regular soap during the summer months. Nancy uses the soap regularly throughout the summer – even bathing in the evenings and getting excellent results through the following day.
“I have been using the Bug Off soap for about two years now. I use it when I work in the yard and whenever I am going to be out in the summer. When everyone around me is complaining about bugs, I don’t have a problem. I have also taken it on trips to areas that are supposed to be bad for mosquitos and bugs in general and don’t have a problem when others around me do. I would highly recommend this soap.”

These products are available at Greatcakessoapworks.com and will also be available at the Olathe Farmer’s Market throughout the summer.
