Pink Beaded Sock
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I planned to make some
beaded socks for my girls for Christmas. I’ve finished two pairs. Only problem is that I have somehow misplaced the other pink sock! It has to show up before Christmas!! This sock (pair, once I find the other one!) is for my 5-year-old daughter. She will love them, I’m sure.
Multi-Colored Beaded Socks
The multi-colored pair looks quite nice and a lot less “fluffy”. These beads should make this pair a little more versatile. I’m just hoping my 7-year-old daughter will think beaded socks are cool, because these are for her.
The fluffy yarn has its pros and cons. The biggest advantage is that it covers your mistakes; however, it’s also more difficult to work with because you can’t see what you’re doing as easily! I will attempt to do another pair with some thick crochet thread and see how that goes. I’m pretty slow at this – it takes a couple hours to string all the beads on the yarn and then crochet the sock. It’s fun to create though!
